Conference

As we said before, Ricardo is such a nice guy!

"Dear Colleagues,
As you all know, yesterday some of us had a meeting to decide about the feasibility of the Trainees Conference. We decided to go on with this idea and to start organizing the Conference itself. José-Miguel (as spokesperson) and I, will ask, today, for Mrs. Kruch approval.

Yesterday afternoon we had already some preliminary discussion on the organization. - The conference will be open to people from outside the council and not just for us;
- It will be held in the end of May or beginning of June ( in any case before the European Council)
- The main topic (I had already proposed one) will be further discussed, as well as the sub-themes. We decided to open a period of brainstorming until Monday. All the suggestions (themes, speakers, timetables, other ideas or suggestions in general) should be sent to me. WE STRONGLY ASK ALL OF YOU TO BRAINSTROM WITH US and propose SOME IDEAS. Even if you don't want to be directly involved in the organizations, your ideas will be more than welcome by the Organization team!
- Working teams will be formed for the different tasks - organization of the panels (defining priorities, speakers, information pack…) and organization, production and promotion of the event; - IF the event is approved by Mrs. Kruch (I will communicate it as soon as I have any information on that) we WILL MEET NEXT TUESDAY to work on the details of the event, start to elaborate the program and arrange other details. We will work on basis of the contributions of the brainstorming.
- To those who didn't come yesterday, but still want to join the Organization, please sent me an e-mail and I will add you to the mailing list of the organization;
- I will send regular information on the organization progresses!
