The European Vodka Alliance is urgently seeking to recruit an intern for a period of six months, starting immediately, to assist in the day-to-day management of the campaign against the revision of the existing definition of Vodka.
Responsibilities will include:
arranging and preparing meetings; liaising with EU personnel; keeping abreast of relevant developments; drafting press releases; preparing and circulating briefing materials for use by Alliance members.
Requirements:
Applicants must:
be resposible well organised and able to work independently be fluent in English and French; have knowledge of other European languages considered an asset; have good interpersonal skills and be able to work with people from different cultural backgrounds; be familiar with the workings of the European Institutions; be computer literate (word, excel, access) .
This is an exciting opportunity to gain first hand experience in the management of issues at European level. In addition we are offering a salary of circa €1000 per month.

I am following the debate in the "working party on spirit drinks" (it's not a joke)
They're really fighting on vodka (esp swedish and polish)!
