1 year "Trainees Consilium 2006", 1 year of blogging!

Dear consilium trainee,
Our blog has an anniversary: 1 year! Can you imagine :)))
In order to celebrate it, we just moved to the New Blogger version. Yes, my dear trainee, if you want to continue to post, go to the old Blogger http://www.blogger.com/migrate-login.g and complete two simple steps:
1. Sign in with your old username and password, then accept the Terms of Service

2. Sign in with your Google username and password. If you don’t have a Google account, you can create one or ask JM, Filipe, Ricardo, Martin or Atanaska for an invitation. Your name will appear in the "Contributor" sidebar module on the blog. That’s all. And now, enjoy the match Real Madrid vs Bayern Munchen!

Our little creature. Who would ever think you would finally make it here?

I still remember your painful and awaited birth.

Happy ONE year. And thank you to all the "collaborateurs".

Le Gouvernment de Vichy.

BTW. There is no need to use a google account. Everybody can still use the old ones if you don't want to migrate to a obviously superior level of emailing (i.e. gmail)

Atanaska a dit…

yes, I also remember the day when the Founding Father Miguelito created that little blog. Instead of enjoying life as a single parent, Miguelito el Creator sent invitations (more than 40!) to everyone. et on est presque tous devenu des collabos! bon, d'accord, on n'a pas réussi à briser la Résistance, mais l'a farouchement combattue par tous les moyens...
As for me, I was promoted to editor-in-chief, 1st secretary, gmail member and a Top VF. And I was happy.

voici l'histoire d’un succès, chers amis.
le reste est à écrire...

PS. Raul played a great match

L.S.,

Why are we talking about Real Madrid (Dutch goal scorers on each side!) or Vichy?

Martin

Atanaska a dit…

why not?

L.S.,

Because Madrid and Munich both suck this year (Pardon my French..), and now that Papon is dead, the fact that jailed fewer war criminals, in absolute terms, than either Belgium or the Netherlands even though they were more cooperative than any other country occupied by the Germans isn't really an interesting issue anymore...

L.S.,

My apologies, allow me to refer you to Wikipedia:

Vichy France (in English)
Pursuit of Nazi collaborators (also in English)
Régime de Vichy
Режим Виши
Collaboration en France: 1940 - 1944
Épuration par le Régime de Vichy
Épuration à la Libération en France

Citing the last article, in French:

"En valeur absolue, il y eut moins d'exécutions légales en France que dans la petite Belgique, et les internements furent plus nombreux en Norvège ou en Hollande."

I hope this suffices...
