it's his first week at the Foreign Ministry and we wish him good luck

Actually, I don't remember what it said on the wall, even though it looks like it was written in real letters. (Just kidding, I can more or less read cyrillic now.)
In my defense, I spent most of the evening sitting where Nace sits in the picture, because she abandoned us soon after the picture was taken...

Yes, but I'd been looking at that sign and that shop for several hours the evening before, when Angie and I had dinner at the same place.
(It's the name of a clothes store in Atanaska's native Plovdiv. It is literally the smallest store ever. It's as wide as its front door!)
